A website that finally feels like Unmasked
We gave a West Yorkshire mental health charity a new website, new photography and film, and a Google advertising campaign, so more people find the right support, faster, and the site does justice to the work happening inside it.

Client overview
Unmasked helps people across West Yorkshire access free, judgement-free mental health support: counselling, peer support hubs, wellbeing groups and workshops. But their old website didn't reflect any of that warmth.
The challenge
Everyone landed on the same page, whether they were someone quietly looking for help or an HR manager exploring support for their whole team. Generic icons stood in for real people. The menu had grown into a maze, and finding the right service meant clicking through page after page. It made a compassionate charity feel harder to reach than it should have been.
Our approach
One clear first step
The homepage now asks one simple question: are you looking for support yourself, or for your team? Every visitor is pointed the right way immediately.
A gentle way to find help
A short, kind wellbeing check-in asks how someone's been feeling and quietly points them to the right service, no forms to fill in, no wrong doors.
Real faces, real trust
New photography and a homepage film show the people and places behind Unmasked, replacing generic graphics that could have belonged to any charity.
Easier for employers to say yes
Workplace support that was scattered across five separate pages is now one clear offer, easier for a busy HR manager to understand and act on.
Stories, front and centre
Real testimonials from people Unmasked has supported now sit on the homepage, so visitors see the difference the charity makes before they even click through.
Found by the right people
We also manage Unmasked's free Google advertising, so people searching for support in West Yorkshire find them first, and land straight on the new, clearer site.
Results
- First impression: from dated and generic to warm, current and trustworthy
- Finding help: from hunting through menus to a quick check-in that points the way in seconds
- Employer enquiries: from five confusing pages to one clear page and one clear next step
- Seeing the people behind it: from stock icons to real photos and a homepage film
- Trust and social proof: testimonials moved from a hidden page to front and centre

Conclusion
From a confusing, generic site to umh.org.uk: a warmer, clearer digital home that helps people find the right support faster, shows the real faces behind Unmasked, and makes it easier for employers to say yes.
